Scan2CAD.online handles information used to operate this website. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, email support@scan2cad.online. We may need to verify a request before disclosing or changing account information.
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, we process uploaded drawings and generated files, editing or assessment requests, contact details, account identifiers, service activity and security information. Enabled third-party sign-in providers may supply an identifier and basic profile information. We use this data to provide requested services, support users, prevent abuse and maintain the service.
File and record retention
Free-conversion online files expire after 30 minutes; restricted administrator reference copies are retained for up to 48 hours. Conversion task metadata is retained for up to 90 days. Manual-assessment attachments and support-mail attachments are retained for up to 30 days; application records, support-mail content and analytics events for up to 90 days. Service interruption can delay physical cleanup; expired download access is denied. Account records are retained while needed to operate the account, subject to deletion requests and any required retention.
Analytics and browser storage
We use browser storage for language preferences and anonymous session identifiers, and cookies or equivalent session mechanisms for authentication and security. Analytics include page paths, source domains, language, device category and feature events; sessions are not a count of unique people. Conversion quotas use a keyed hash of network information. Uploaded drawings and form text are not included in analytics events.
Providers and future payments
Hosting, security, enabled authentication and email providers process information necessary for those functions. If Paddle checkout launches, Paddle will process payment and billing data under its own privacy policy; we expect to receive order identifiers, purchase status and information needed to maintain your credits. We do not store full payment-card details. Providers may process data outside your country, subject to applicable safeguards and their terms.
Drawings and future CAD editing
Current uploaded files are not sent to third-party AI models. If the planned editing service introduces external model processing or different storage periods, its data handling will be disclosed and any required consent obtained before such processing begins.
Your choices
You may use the free service without an account where available, decline optional uploads, manage browser storage, or contact us about your privacy rights. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, security or disputes. We do not sell uploaded drawings or personal information.
