Turn images and PDF drawings into editable DXF for free
Upload a PNG, JPG or PDF drawing, preview the conversion and download an editable DXF draft. Check the geometry, recognized text and scale in your CAD software before using the result.
How free conversion works
Select a file and confirm drawing rights and retention → submit the conversion → compare the result with the source → download DXF and calibrate scale.
Formats and daily allowances
The free tool accepts PNG, JPG/JPEG and PDF files up to 2 MB for guests or 2 MB for signed-in users, processing one selected PDF page per conversion. Guests get 1 conversion per IP per day; signed-in accounts get 3. Allowances reset at 00:00 China Standard Time (UTC+8); failed jobs return the allowance. Network abuse-prevention limits also apply.
What to check in the DXF
The converter attempts native PDF text extraction and OCR, and fits regular drawing strokes when possible. Unresolved areas remain outlines. Some labels may not become editable text, and curves such as door arcs may remain polylines. Dimensions are not associative. PNG/JPG use source pixels; PDF uses paper millimetres. Check text, geometry and scale in CAD. Free output is not a guarantee of engineering accuracy.
Interior editor Beta
Create and edit interior floor plans in the free Interior Editor Beta without signing in. Guest projects last 24 hours; sign in to export an editable, layered DXF review draft and keep the project for 30 days. Check walls, doors, windows and text against the source. Upload a PNG, JPG or PDF source up to 5 MB; converted DXF files cannot be imported yet.
File retention
Online source files, results and previews are deleted 30 minutes after task creation. Private review copies are deleted after 48 hours. Download and keep your own copy in time.
